Here is an unusual piece of news. Seems like the L.A. Opera is being bailed out by L.A. County. Fearing that it would cause a major chain reaction within the arts community in Los Angeles, the county voted 4 to 1 to loan the L.A. Opera $14 Million that they would have to repay in three years.
