The New Alice Tully Hall…a Masterpiece!

Another piece of Lincoln Center’s face-lift was revealed last week, Alice Tully Hall and Julliard.  Time is calling it a Jewel and New York Magazine called it a triumphant rehabilitation.  I call it one of the great pieces of architecture to hit New York City’s culture scene since Renzo Piano’s renovation of the Morgan Library.  Have a look at some of the reviews of  Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s masterpiece:

Here is an interesting post from Gizmodo.  Architecture Student Viktor Ramos decided that livable bridges connected betwen Israel and Palestine would allow for both states to live side by side…or in this case superposed….Have a look at his project: The Continuous Enclave: Strategies in Bypass Urbanism.
